When and Where is the Venue?
The Grand Lason will be held on October 15, 2023 in the lower ground floor of the SMX Convention Center, Seashell Lane of the Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City.
Doors will open 12:00 noon and the event is scheduled to close at 8:00 PM.
How safe is my board?
If you are planning to display your boards at the PUBLIC KEYBOARD DISPLAY, there will be KEEB BOUNCERS / security personnel around the public keyboard display area.
Owners looking to display their keyboards will be given a waiver to sign before displaying their keyboards. A limit of 10 viewers at a time will be enforced inside the cordoned display area for security and safety purposes.
Will there be assistance for keyboard building in the event?
A space is provided for keyboard modding and lubing accompanied by Zion Studios staff to assist and guide you with your endgame keyboard.
Are children allowed at the venue?
Children 12 years of age and younger can enter the venue for FREE, as long as they are accompanied by a paying adult (parent or guardian).
Are food and drinks allowed inside the convention area?
External food and drinks are not allowed inside the venue, however there will be food vendors available inside the venue. Alcohol, smoking, and vaping are not allowed inside the SMX Convention Center.
What kind of activities will be present at the event?
The event will feature keyboard displays, typing competitions, product and art selling from registered exhibitors, interactive physical activities, as well as talks from keyboard hobby personalities, raffles, and giveaways.
What is “LASON”?
“Lason” = Poison.
Started as a joke that when you get hooked into the hobby, you get “poisoned.”
